The World Village is a three day Arts and Humanities event that will be host to several multi-national performing groups representing Idaho's variety of cultures. It will also feature select eclectic music groups from the Northwest.
This Dance, Music, Storytelling, Poetry, Film and Food event will showcase our community’s expanding blend of cultural arts and literature, and will invite every resident to connect with their neighbors through a rich celebration of the many traditions and arts around us.
Kick off will be with the film “Finding Fela” at the Egyptian Theatre on Thursday, June 4, 2015 starting at 5:30 p.m. This fund raising gala event also showcases multi-cultural performances and a live auction. Information and tickets are available below.
The community is invited to attend this free, family-friendly event to enjoy vibrant traditional and contemporary performances, workshops, art and an international market featuring members of the Treasure Valley’s multi-national and artistic community. Participants will also enjoy an array of local and ethnic cuisine and a beer and wine garden featuring the Crooked Fence Brewing Company’s specially brewed World Village Saison Beer
